BOSU/Disc

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Testimonial

  • "I’m new to the Woytek family of doctors. I went in for some adjustment of my lower back. Slight pressure on my left side. My friend recommended his doctor to me so I went. I am very happy I did. I was greeted with lots of smiles. Dr. Kyle, I believe, saw me. He is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong. He made some adjustments and I feel great. Thank you very much."
